Ham Bottom is a luxury timber-clad lodge hidden away on a private estate deep in the Somerset countryside. All around are softly undulating hills, lush open fields and woodlands, so you’ll have gorgeous views, plenty of wholesome fresh air and birdsong to wake up to each morning. On the doorstep are paddocks where horses and sheep contentedly graze, footpaths and winding country lanes to walk. Wellington is just a short drive away, with supermarkets, local shops and a regular farmers market; within easy reach are welcoming country pubs, family activities and award-winning attractions. Explore Exmoor National Park, or for days by the sea, the beaches on the Jurassic Coast can be reached in about an hour. The A38 and the M5 motorway aren’t far and only 9 miles away is Tiverton train station with fast links from London in under 2 hours.
