The House

Be prepared for the wows when you step into the entrance lobby; to the left is the pool hall with full height doors you can open wide to bring the sunshine in on warmer days. Right is the humongous open-plan living space, a room made for big happy times! Natural light pours in through floor to ceiling windows, doors open onto the patio. A long dining table sets the scene for celebration feasts, a huge U-shaped sofa is perfect for family movie nights. The kitchen is fully equipped, designed to take the stress out of catering for a large group, theĀ games area has a pool table and a wide screen TV.

Off the games area there's a utility room and WC, beyond this is access friendly Bedroom 1 with an ensuite wet room.

On the first floor are Bedrooms 2-7; Bedrooms 2, 3, 4 and 6 have ensuite shower rooms, 5 and 7 have ensuite bathrooms with separate showers, 6 and 7 both have room for an extra guest bed (extra charge – see Extras). All bedrooms at The Granary have zip and link beds (super kingĀ or twin).

On the second floor are Bedrooms 8 and 9 and a very handy kitchenette. These bedrooms have a free-standing bath and ensuite shower rooms, and room for 2 extra guest beds (extra charge – see Extras).

Outside the huge patio has plenty of seating and an outdoor kitchen with a built-in charcoal barbecue, sink and room for slicing and dicing. Just outside the pool room is the hot tub; relax beneath cornflower blue skies by day, or beneath a canopy of stars in the evening.

There’s a play area for younger children, and a Nordic style BBQ lodge where you can gather beneath the twinkly lights any time of year; sizzle sausages, toast marshmallows, swap stories.
