For an authentic taste of country living, a short break on a real working farm has much to offer. Typically, you will be met with a warm, friendly welcome from your hosts, who have lived in and cared for their surroundings, sometimes for generations. And for children, the excitement of watching farm life at first hand will bring a very special experience, be it the sight of a herd of cows being milked, new born lambs or a harvest field at sunset. Local produce is another frequent delight that comes with a Farm Short Break holiday letting, fresh free range eggs and meat, and fine regional cheeses to name just a few. Our Farm Short Breaks provide a wide range of unique self-catering accommodation, including barn conversions, cottages and log-cabins and is sure to have something for everyone.

Only open on Fridays and Saturdays in summer, closed week days. Glamping Thorpe is a small, very private glamping destination in rural Oxfordshire, we welcome groups of Up to 30 guests in our minifest field. It's run by myself Paul and my 13 year old twins Olly and Alice. Accommodation comprises of 2 40' shipping containers with 5 double beds in each and for over 20 guests and 4 glammed up army trailers, all finished in a very unique style. Mattresses are provided, but all guests will need to bring there own bedding/sleeping bag, pillow and towels. You will also get a 40' x 16' graffitied up shipping container complete with disco lights, Bluetooth speaker, sofas and a fridge freezer. Outside, there are pub benches, a double gas ring and BBQ. We are the perfect location for hen weekends and hen mini festivals. Sorry no dogs or other sound systems allowed and only booked in guests aloud on site.
