Cricklehaze is a place where laughter comes easily, time slows down and special memories are made. Set in a wonderfully peaceful spot in the Blackdown Hills of Somerset, this luxury large-group holiday house is perfect for family getaways, milestone celebrations, walking breaks and corporate retreats, whatever the season. Seven comfortable bedrooms sleep 14 guests, with space for four additional guest beds (available at an extra charge – see Extras).

Rain or shine, there’s plenty to enjoy thanks to the private spa hall featuring a swimming pool, hot tub and sauna, alongside a neighbouring games room and movie room – so entertainment is always close at hand.

Inside, the house is spacious and full of character, with thoughtful nods to its former life as a dairy, original artworks and a relaxed, happy atmosphere throughout. Sustainability is a key focus here, and the property is also access friendly.

The market town of Ilminster and the county town of Taunton are just a short drive away, with award-winning country pubs, excellent restaurants and family attractions close by. The Jurassic Coast is around 45 minutes away, making seaside days out an easy option.

Getting here is simple – Cricklehaze lies just a few miles from the A30 and within easy reach of the A303 and M5. Leaving, on the other hand, may prove rather more difficult.
