The house is set on a sixty-acre farm at the top of the Antrim plateau. 

The breathtaking beautiful scenic view covers the rolling hills of County Antrim and County Derry. 

Montalto sits approximately 1 mile from the residetial hamlet of Newtoncommelin. Directly out of the other side of the village is the scenic route to the coast, which is 20 minutes drive away. 

The house being at the top of the Antrim plateau means visitors are only a ten minute drive away from the Glens of Antrim and Glenariff forest walks and 45 minutes away from one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Giants Causeway. 

The great shopping town of Ballymena is only a 20 minute drive away. 

The famous Antrim coastline is amongst the most spectacular in Europe and the Glens of Antrim along with much of the coastline here is under the stewardship of the National Trust. 

Walking and cycling and golf are fabulous, with coastal and Antrim Glens walks giving spectacular viewpoints, and golf courses aplenty. 

For GAME OF THRONES fans this is the perfect location to visit film sets such as Cushendun Caves, Dark Hedges, Ballingtoy Harbour, Mussenden Temple - all within 45 minutes drive.
