4 en suite bedrooms – open plan living space – pool table – table football – swim spa – BBQ lodge –  large enclosed patio - garden – parking for 3-4 cars – no noise after 11pm - grocery deliveries from Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Asda, COOK and Coombe Farm Organic.

A short drive along narrow country lanes takes you to Holemoor Grange, tucked away in private grounds accessed via electronic security gates. Out you get and wow - just look at those views! Miles and miles of wide open countryside, rolling hills, big skies, it’s incredible. On the patio are the swim spa and the BBQ lodge, which can be used anytime of year, and the good news is it’s all south facing so you get the best of the sunshine.

Holemoor Grange has been designed with flair and imagination and that’s evident from the minute you step inside the wide hallway with its fantastic tiled floor – a modern take on Victorian styling. Like most contemporary houses built these days there’s a lot of glass, and that’s great because the result is stunning group accommodation that’s flooded with natural daylight. It’s all topsy-turvy living here, so the bedrooms are downstairs and the living space is upstairs. When you see the views from the first floor you’ll understand why.

Go up the oak glazed staircase to the huge open plan living space; it's awesome, with floor to ceiling windows, wooden flooring, and a dream of a kitchen to one end. This is a very well equipped kitchen too, with heaps of storage space and all you need to cook up a feast. A door opens off the kitchen to the side of the house, giving access to the patio and making things easy when you have grocery deliveries. Off the kitchen is a utility room where there’s a fridge/freezer, laundry facilities and a loo.

In the middle of the living space there’s a pool table and a chunky dining table that's plenty big enough to seat you all; as it’s actually two used together it gives you the flexibility to have them arranged refectory style, as one long table or as a square. Whatever you decide upon there’s bound to be many a glass raised and countless happy dinners. To the other end of the room are inviting sofas and chairs where you can sit comfy and watch a movie together or the latest big match. So you see, it’s one massive sociable space, with plenty of room to do whatever you want - watch telly, sing and dance, play pool, or just sit and chat. Relaxation guaranteed, and all the while those gorgeous views. Perfect.

You might be thinking that lots of glass means it gets very hot in the summer, but the owners have thought about that and so all curtains are an unlined and lightweight linen effect, so they act as a sunscreen but also ensure enough darkness at night to help you sleep well. You can open the windows of course, but note that they are all fitted with safety catches which stop at about an inch. If you want to push them open further, that’s fine, but you must take great care and ensure that children are supervised at all times.

Downstairs the hall leads off to Bedrooms 1 and 2 to the left, and 3 and 4 to the right. All bedrooms sleep 3 guests in zip and link beds which can be arranged as a super king or twins, and an additional single; Bedroom 2 has an additional pull-out truckle bed (charged extra) so can sleep 4. Bedroom 1 has an en suite bathroom with a bath that has an overhead shower, Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have shower rooms with big walk-in showers, and Bedroom 4 has an en suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower. All bedrooms have a TV, and there are French doors with a window incorporated on one side so in the summer, when it’s hot, you can let the cool night air drift in as you sleep.
