Aber Cottage and 'The Retreat' are set in lovely grounds adjacent to the River Glaslyn, which flows from Snowdon. This area of outstanding natural beauty, is arguably one of the most scenic locations in North Wales.

This beautiful cottage, whose known origins are believed to date back to the mid 18th century, has been tastefully and sympathetically restored throughout and was awarded the 1984 prize for Architecture by the Snowdonia National Park. Since then it has been maintained to a high standard by the present owners, who have ensured that much of the unique character and style of the period of construction has been retained.
