Full of country charm and quirky features, Pippinsands is a gorgeous country cottage for group holidays in the UK, for big family holidays, days away with friends, elegant hen weekends, and informal corporate stays.

6 bedrooms sleep 14 guests, interiors are the perfect blend of rustic features and modern country living, outside the huge garden has breathtaking views over the valley.

So in you go, push open the big old front door and step into a wide hallway; to the right is the bright and airy drawing room, straight ahead is a WC, and to the left is a snug, the annexe and the kitchen and dining room. Stroll through and you’ll soon notice the gentle and relaxed air that pervades throughout the house; there’s love in those bumpy old walls, all the happy vibes of its past.

Spend quiet moments in the snug, get your head in a book, have story time with the little ones; gather in the kitchen to cook, bacon sizzling in the pan, a roast in the oven, a hearty stew bubbling away. Go through to the dining room, take your seat around the handmade table, love those valley views.

The annexe has a kitchen/diner, living room, bedroom and ensuite wet room; it’s very much a part of the house but if you’ve got a couple who like their own space, or elderly grandparents who like to turn in a bit earlier at night, it’s perfect.

Bedrooms 1-5 are upstairs off a long landing; most have zip and link beds (super king or twin). Bedroom 1 has an ensuite shower room, Bedrooms 2 and 3 both share the family bathroom. Bedroom 4 has an ensuite loo, Bedroom 5 is a suite with two bedrooms and an ensuite shower room (ideal for families with young children).

The large private gardens are to the front and side of the house; here’s where you relax in the hot tub beneath speedwell blue skies and listen to the birdsong whilst squirrels scoot about on the lawn. It's so very lovely here at Pippinsands, and it’s so peaceful. You’ll wish you could stay forever.
