The House

This house is so much fun, from the minute you step inside the glass walled hallway! A kooky cow bench gives you somewhere to sit and take your shoes off, straight ahead are the stairs, up above is a big glitzy mirror ball.

Go through to the humongous open-plan living/entertaining space, and WOW! Pegged rafters soar to the ceiling, there’s air con, heating beneath the white marble tiles, modern art on the walls and possibly the funkiest sofas you’ve ever seen. This, dear people, is one mega happy house! There’s a games area with a pool table and arcade games, and to one side, a dining area for the kind of celebration feasts where you’ll want to linger. Behind a glass wall is the kitchen, sleek and stylish and very well equipped. Round the corner there’s a very sophisticated shower room.

The bedrooms are all upstairs off a long landing; Bedrooms 1, 2 and 5 are great for families or for friends sharing, as with additional beds on a mezzanine, they can all sleep 4. All rooms except Bedroom 6 have very striking ensuite shower rooms with opulent marble or porcelain tiles and large walk-in showers.

Full height doors open from the living space to the garden, all enclosed, like a playground for grown-ups. Get out there, perch at the bar* and sip mojitos, watch the latest on Love Island on the TV while the steaks sizzle on the barbie, take your seat in the covered dining area. And if it rains? Oh, just go pell-mell to the BBQ lodge, easy-peasy. Best of all is the hot tub – it’s a mighty one, with room for 13-14, and then there’s the sauna – waddya know, you’ve got your own private spa here!
