Duxhams - Somerset

Duxhams is a large group holiday house set in private grounds on the edge of Dulverton, within the boundaries of Exmoor National Park. Built as an Edwardian hunting lodge, the house has undergone an amazing transformation to provide luxury accommodation for 19 guests in 8 bedrooms. In the garden there’s a 12 person hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and plenty of room for children to run and play. With heaps of space inside and out Duxhams makes a wonderful place to stay for big family holidays, peaceful celebrations with your loved ones, refined hen weekends and self-catering corporate breaks.

Interiors at Duxhams are gorgeously eclectic and whatever time of year you stay it has its charm. If you decide to venture out and explore the local area, you’ll find so much to see and do for all ages. The beauty spots of Exmoor are within easy reach, like Tarr Steps, Snowdrop Valley and Dunkery Beacon, the highest point in the park. There are family attractions, historic houses and activities within a short drive, as well as a plethora of country pubs, restaurants and cosy little tea rooms. This is a house for happy times, a house where everlasting memories will be made. The North Devon link road and Tiverton Parkway station are both within half an hours’ drive.
