PEAKS GRANGE

Set on a working beef farm at the foot of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, Peaks Grange sleeps 25 guests in 10 bedrooms over 4 adjoining cottages. There’s a games room with a snooker table, an indoor hot tub and a communal Gathering House for dining together. The local area has heaps to see and do with beautiful walks, country inns, and days by the sea at Weston-Super-Mare. Enjoy family trips to Puxton Park, Animal Farm Adventure Park, Brean Theme Park and Wookey Hole; visit Wells Cathedral, soak up the spiritual vibe at Glastonbury, spend days in the city at Bath and Bristol, have adventures at Cheddar Caves and Gorge.

The 4 individual cottages are great for holidays with friends and family – guests have their own space yet there’s plenty of room to gather together to dine and relax. It's perfect for big family holidays, multi-generational stays, days away with friends, refined hen weekends and self-catering corporate breaks.

These sympathetically converted barns are well-equipped with modern interiors and rustic character in the form of oak beams and latch and brace doors. Bedrooms 1 to 3 are on the first floor in Henrietta’s, which sleeps 7 (see Floorplans/Rooms); Bedroom 3 has an ensuite shower room, there’s a family bathroom with a P bath and overhead shower, and on the ground floor, a living/dining room and a kitchen.

Next door in Herman’s are Bedrooms 4 and 5 and a double sofa bed, so there’s snooze space for 7, with all accommodation on ground floor level. There’s also an open plan living/dining room and kitchen, and a family bathroom with a P bath and overhead shower.

Bedrooms 6 and 7 both sleep 2 and are on the first floor in Casper’s, along with a family bathroom with a P bath and overhead shower. On the ground floor there’s an open plan living space with living room, dining and kitchen areas.

Bedrooms 8 to 10 are in Franks’, which sleeps 7 and has a family bathroom with a P bath and overhead shower. The ground floor has a living/dining room and a kitchen.

At the front of each cottage there’s a patio area with outdoor furniture, leading onto the enormous grounds with a play area, apple orchards, woodlands and a private stretch of the River Axe. To the rear of Henrietta’s and Hermans a courtyard with a gazebo sets the scene for big happy barbecues and to the other side of this is the Hot Tub House and the Gathering Barn. With a wood-burner, bar and dining area, this is where you can all gather together any time of year to catch up, to be sociable and enjoy scrumptious celebration feasts. Just a few steps from the cottages, the games room has a snooker table and is accessed by external stairs.
